Narvar, a post-purchase platform utilized by some of the top e-commerce sellers in the world, has announced that it is acquiring Lumi, an innovative marketplace for packaging and print products. The move is designed to help Narvar achieve a truly comprehensive customer experience, from pre to post-purchase.

“From inception, Narvar has empowered brands to deliver world-class customer experiences with our expertise in digital commerce and supply chain management. With Lumi, we elevate our ability to deliver comprehensive solutions to the complex nature of D2C packaging,” said Amit Sharma, Founder & CEO of Narvar.

“We’ll now be able to help digital retailers personalize the very first physical interaction with customers all in one scalable platform.”

With the acquisition of Lumi, Narvar aims to make post-purchase brand experiences more valuable and sustainable within the supply chain. The transparent pricing, comprehensive software, and choice of sustainable materials help supply chain teams make informed decisions about their product’s production and delivery strategies.

Lumi designs many of its products with environmental sustainability in mind with practices such as responsible forestry, compostable plastics, and low-packaging options. As a result, the company has built a network of environmentally-friendly customer brands such as P&G, Bombas, Outdoor Voices, Misfits Market, and Constellation Brands.

These brands, along with many others from Fortune 500 to startups, use Lumi to easily discover and engage with the best factories for their product. Lumi’s tools provide supply chain teams visibility every step of the process so they can make informed decisions.

Together, the acquisition will help the two companies create a complete platform users can use to engage with customers, monitor their insights, and view transparent supply chain metrics.

For Narvar, which has experienced significant growth in the past year, the acquisition solidifies its capabilities to provide premium post-purchase experiences on e-commerce platforms. Over 1,100 of the world’s largest e-commerce sellers such as The Home Depot, GAP, Lululemon, Dyson, and Patagonia use the platform to drive consumer engagements through the buying process.

“Lumi is joining forces with Narvar as ecommerce packaging hits the mainstream consciousness,” said Jesse Genet, CEO and Co-Founder of Lumi.

“Packaging is no longer just simply what gets products from point A to point B, but a pivotal part of each brand’s experience for its customers. Packaging isn’t just on a shelf anymore, it’s on our doorsteps, it’s in our homes. And the options for brands to optimize their packaging are rapidly increasing and yet often hard to implement.”
