RainFocus Secures $60 Million In Series C Funding

The event management platform looks to expand its digital integrations to empower in-person, hybrid, and remote events.

Event marketing platform RainFocus announced that it has raised $60 million in Series C funding, a moved designed to expand its global reach and accelerate go-to-market initiatives. The unified event marketing software company will also use the funding to enhance its capabilities for its users to plan, host, and analyze in-person, remote, and hybrid events.

The cloud-based platform focuses on powering valuable audience experiences and gathering actionable insights to scale. Since the company was founded in 2013, it has grown a loyal global customer base of businesses such as VMware, Cisco, Oracle, and IBM.

The RainFocus platform works by empowering event marketing strategies with integrated technology. Users have the tools to plan innovative events, manage their portfolio, and analyze data to optimize future strategies.

RainFocus has experienced massive growth in its market in recent years, doubling its revenue in just the past year alone. It has been quickly adopted by some of the world’s most dynamic brands to enhance their event strategies, growing 430 percent in events on the platform in one year.

The platform is used by over 5 million business professionals worldwide in over 160 countries. As organizations begin to return to in-person events and continue emphasizing remote events, the funding allows RainFocus to enhance its event management platform.

The investment was led by KKR and JMI Equity.
